Overview
Ishikawa Zoo, located in Nomi City, Ishikawa Prefecture, boasts a vast expanse of land. It houses a diverse range of animals, including lions, elephants, and giraffes. In addition to exhibits allowing for close observation of animal behavior, there's a playground for children and opportunities for interactive experiences with the animals. Seasonal flowers also bloom in abundance, creating a nature-rich environment where you can interact with, learn about, and be healed by the animals.
A restaurant and shops are located within the zoo, ensuring a full day of enjoyment. It's a perfect spot for families, couples, and friends alike.
Access is excellent, with bus routes from Kanazawa Station (approx. 1 hour) and Komatsu Airport (approx. 30 minutes). Ample parking is also available for those driving.

From Kanazawa Station: Take the Hokuriku Railway Bus bound for “Ishikawa Zoo.” From Komatsu Station: Take the Hokutetsu Kaga Bus Sano Line to “Ishikawa Zoo” (weekends and holidays only). From Matsunami Station: Take the Hokutetsu Hakusan Bus Kawakita Line to “Ishikawa Zoo” (weekdays only). From Nomi Negami Station: Take the bus sightseeing route to “Ishikawa Zoo” (weekends and holidays only).
