Echizen-Matushima Aquarium, located in Mikuni-cho Saki, Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, opened in 1959. With the theme of "See, Touch, and Learn Fun," the aquarium emphasizes close encounters with marine life. The aquarium houses a variety of creatures, including dolphins, seals, penguins, fish, reptiles, and amphibians.
