Overview
Tsukigusa no Sato is a rabbit-themed park in Nagai-machi, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Kaga City has a legend about a rabbit saving the village from a flood as a repayment of kindness, making rabbits a symbol of good fortune and happiness. At Tsukigusa no Sato, approximately 50 rabbits frolic freely. You can interact with them in the spacious grounds, feed them, and simply enjoy their adorable antics. The on-site shop offers a delightful array of rabbit-themed goods, including stuffed animals, keychains, and tableware. They also sell local specialties, making it a perfect spot for souvenir shopping. The restaurant serves delicious meals using locally sourced ingredients. Entrance fee to the Rabbit Square implemented July 1st, 2022:
Adults: ¥300
Elementary school students and younger: ¥200
Toddlers (under 3 years old): Free
(Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by an adult.)
Experiences: Freshly baked pie making, Incense blending (sachet making), Handmade manju (Japanese sweet bun) experience (Weekends and holidays only. Minimum 3 participants. Reservations required one day in advance by phone. Experience fee: ¥1650)
