Nikko Edomura, opened on April 23, 1986, is a theme park themed on the Edo and Sengoku periods. Boasting a total area of 495,000 square meters (approximately 150,000 tsubo), the park is divided into eight areas recreating the townscape of the Edo period. Each area offers a variety of attractions and experiential programs, including period drama shows, ninja shows, craft workshops, and traditional games. It also features an open set used for filming period dramas, serving as a location for television programs and movies. Nikko Edomura offers more than just a glimpse into the culture and life of the Edo period; it's a fully immersive entertainment experience for adults and children alike.
