Approximately 80-85 minutes by bus (Tobu Bus Nikko) from Tobu-Nikko Station on the Tobu Nikko Line or Nikko Station on the Nikko Line. The bus goes via Chuzenji Onsen, Akanuma, and Kentoku Onsen to Yumoto Onsen. From Joetsu Shinkansen's Joetsu-Myoko Station or Numata Station on the Joetsu Line, take a bus (Kanetsu Kotsu) towards Kamada Eigyosho, transfer at Kamada, and then take the "Nikko-Oze-Katasina Express" (seasonal operation - check operating days) or the "Yumoto Onsen Line" (summer-only operation) for about 60 minutes.
