Overview

Lake Onagagawa is a lake located in Kitashiobara Village, Yama District, Fukushima Prefecture, created by the eruption of Mount Bandai in 1888. This expansive lake stretches 3.5km east to west and covers an area of 1.72km². It's known as one of the Urabandai Three Lakes, along with Lake Hibara and Lake Akimoto. Situated within Bandai-Asahi National Park, it offers breathtaking views surrounded by abundant nature. A well-maintained promenade around the lake allows for leisurely strolls and nature appreciation.
