Overview

Onokogawa Fudo Falls is a stunning waterfall nestled in the abundant natural beauty of the Bandai Plateau in Kitashiobara Village, Fukushima Prefecture. The water originates from Hyakkan Shimizu (百貫清水) in the Bandai Plateau and is known as "Onokogawa Yusui," a designated member of Japan's 100 Best Waters. The waterfall boasts a height of 25 meters, and its magnificent sight is sure to leave a lasting impression. Well-maintained trails allow visitors to enjoy a pleasant stroll surrounded by nature. You can even walk along the former route of a forest logging train, with remnants of the stonework from a bridge in front of the falls still visible. It's a popular spot for stream climbing in summer and snowshoe trekking in winter.
