A park in Sapporo's Nishi-ku where you can enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the four seasons.
Noushi Park is a recreational park in Sapporo's Nishi-ku, built on the former site of the Hokkaido Agricultural Experiment Station of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Once contributing to Hokkaido's agricultural development, it's now a beloved gathering place for local residents. In spring, cherry blossoms abound, and in autumn, the fiery red leaves of Nanakamado trees paint a stunning landscape. The park offers a variety of facilities to enjoy throughout the year, including the all-weather indoor sports facility 'Twin Cap,' baseball fields, tennis courts, a multi-purpose plaza, a hammering plaza (Tonkachi Hiroba), a splash pad (Chapuchapu Hiroba), a playground, a traffic education corner, gateball courts, and a cycle circuit. With plenty of children's play equipment, it's a perfect spot for families to spend the whole day. The 'Twin Cap,' the park's symbolic facility, is particularly popular. Its indoor ground, bathed in natural light, allows for various sports regardless of the weather. A sunroom provides a relaxing resting area. Outdoors, a spacious multi-purpose plaza is ideal for soccer, baseball, frisbee, and other activities. In winter, it becomes a snow-packed area for skiing and skating. The hammering plaza offers woodworking experiences, fostering children's creativity. The splash pad is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. The playground features slides, swings, and other play equipment for endless fun. The traffic education corner allows children to practice cycling while learning traffic rules. Gateball courts and a cycle circuit for mountain biking are also available. Noushi Park is a true treasure for Sapporo residents, offering a place to connect with nature while enjoying a wide range of sports and activities. We highly recommend a visit!
