Rokko Cable is a historic cable car connecting Rokko Cable Shita Station and Rokko Sanjo Station in Nada-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. Opened in 1932 (Showa 7), it ascends 1.7km with a height difference of 493.3m in just 10 minutes. The charm of Rokko Cable lies in its retro-style cars. One of the two connected cars is an open-air observation car, allowing you to fully enjoy the majestic scenery while breathing in the fresh mountain air. From Rokko Sanjo Station, you'll be treated to stunning views of Kobe's cityscape and Osaka Bay, and at night, you can gaze at the glittering Kobe night view.
