Ikomayama Amusement Park, opened in 1929 (Showa 4), is a historic amusement park. Situated atop Mount Ikoma at an elevation of 642 meters, it offers spectacular views of the Osaka Plain and Nara Basin, attracting numerous visitors. The park features a variety of rides and game arcades to entertain visitors of all ages, including the "Hikoshou," Japan's oldest large-scale amusement ride. The "Hikoshou" is a retro-style ride that takes you to the top of a 30-meter tower, providing a panoramic view of the Osaka Plain. Other nostalgic attractions include a roller coaster, Ferris wheel, and carousel. Ikomayama Amusement Park offers a blend of retro charm and breathtaking scenery, making it a fun destination for all ages. Moreover, the park's natural environment allows for a refreshing forest bath experience. Surrounding the park are mountains such as Mount Ikoma and Mount Shigi, perfect for hiking and mountain climbing.
