The Okazaki Sakura Corridor is a roughly 2km cherry blossom-lined path stretching from Okazaki Park in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, to Heian Jingu Shrine. In spring, approximately 500 cherry trees burst into bloom, creating a breathtaking spectacle. A variety of cherry blossom species are represented, including Someiyoshino, weeping cherry (shidarezakura), and yaezakura, offering a diverse display of blossoms. During cherry blossom season, countless visitors gather to enjoy hanami (cherry blossom viewing). By day, the vibrant blossoms against the clear blue sky create a stunning scene.
