Overview
The Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts houses a precious collection of prints gathered from within Japan and internationally. Through permanent and special exhibitions, you can admire a wide range of print works spanning from the European Middle Ages to the modern era, and from the Nara period to the present day in Japan. Beyond the exhibition rooms, there's a print workshop and studio, offering hands-on printmaking workshops. You can experience various printmaking techniques such as copperplate etching, lithography, and woodblock printing.
