Overview

Irimizu Cave, a nationally designated natural monument in Tamura City, Fukushima Prefecture, is part of a cave system formed by the same water source as Abukuma Cave. It's approximately 900 meters long. Parts of the cave are flooded, with water levels reaching knee-deep in some areas, so be prepared to get wet. However, this unique feature offers a breathtaking spectacle of underwater stalactites and an underground lake, unlike anything seen in dry caves. The cave's lighting creates a magical atmosphere, transporting you to another world. Exploring the cave is a mini-adventure! Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as some areas can be slippery. Irimizu Cave is a precious place where you can experience the mystery of nature. Come and create unforgettable memories.
