Tatsuzawa Fudo Falls, located in Inawashiro-machi, Yama-gun, Fukushima Prefecture, is the second designated scenic spot in the "Inawashiro New Eight Views" and one of the "Fukushima's Thirty Best Waterfalls." Fudo Myoo (Acala) is enshrined here. The falls consist of a powerful male waterfall, 10 meters high and 16 meters wide, where water flows down the rock face like a curtain, and a gracefully feminine waterfall quietly nestled to its west. The male waterfall faces south, so depending on the time of day, you might even see a rainbow created by the spray in front of the falls. Tatsuzawa Fudo Falls is attractive not only for its grandeur but also for its location surrounded by abundant nature. Well-maintained walking paths allow you to enjoy the forest. The falls are also known as a power spot, where you can refresh your mind and body while taking in plenty of negative ions. Access to Tatsuzawa Fudo Falls is approximately 40 minutes from the Inawashiro-Bandai-Kogen IC of the Ban-etsu Expressway via National Route 115 and Prefectural Route 24 (Chunosawa-Ataka Line). The easy access, a 10-minute walk from the parking lot, is another attractive feature.
