Takigashira Wetland is a beautiful wetland located at the foot of Mt. Mikuragaku in Aga-machi, Higashikubiki-gun, Niigata Prefecture. Well-maintained boardwalks throughout the wetland allow for leisurely exploration of the natural beauty. In spring, you'll find Skunk Cabbage (Mizubasho) and Japanese Winter aconite (Ryukin-ka). Summer brings Hosta (Giboushi) and Balloon Flowers (Kikyou), while autumn showcases Gentians (Rindou) and Patrinia (Ominaeshi), and many other varieties.
