Meiho Ski Resort, located in Meiho, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture, is one of the largest ski resorts in Western Japan. Opened in December 1989, it features a total of 13 courses. With a 5,000m long course and a variety of slopes for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, it offers something for everyone. Boasting the highest summit elevation and vertical drop in Oku-Mino, the resort offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Northern Alps from its summit. The panoramic view of the Northern Alps from the summit is particularly stunning and captivating, attracting many skiers and snowboarders. With excellent access, it's approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Ichinomiya JCT in the Nagoya area and approximately 3 hours from Suita JCT in the Osaka area, making it easily accessible from the Chūkyō and Kansai regions. It also features a spacious kids' park, making it ideal for families with young children. The kids' park is equipped with various play equipment designed for children's safe and fun enjoyment. In the off-season, Meiho Ski Resort transforms into a ranch, offering activities such as camping, hand-free BBQs, and nature experiences, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the highlands year-round.
