Overview

Whitepia Takasu is a ski resort located in Takasu-cho, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture. Its unique fan-shaped layout, where many courses converge at a central point, is a defining characteristic. With 14 courses and 5 lifts, it offers something for everyone, from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders. Adjacent to the Washiogadake Ski Resort to the southwest, reciprocal access has been available since the 2015-2016 season, allowing visitors to enjoy an even wider variety of slopes. However, the appeal of Whitepia Takasu extends beyond the sheer number and variety of its slopes. The resort boasts ample amenities, including a 2,000-car parking lot, a 24-hour public bath, a rest area, and ski and snowboard schools, all located conveniently in the center house. Numerous hot spring inns and hotels are also located nearby, offering opportunities to relax and unwind in an onsen after a day on the slopes. Whitepia Takasu is more than just skiing; it's a place to immerse yourself in the surrounding natural beauty. In spring, the surrounding mountains are draped in vibrant green foliage. Summer offers the refreshing coolness of a 1,000-meter-high plateau. Autumn brings stunning autumn leaves painting the mountains in a kaleidoscope of colors.
