Parking is free. Restrooms are available, but may not be well-maintained. This is a park abundant in nature, so insect repellent and a hat are recommended. While the mountain trails are well-maintained, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
Torimiyama Park is a beautiful park nestled in the heart of Uda City, Nara Prefecture, surrounded by lush nature. From its summit, approximately 400 meters above sea level, you can enjoy magnificent views of Uda City.
In spring, around 10,000 azalea bushes burst into bloom, painting the park in a breathtaking sea of pink. The best time to see the azaleas is from late April to early May, attracting numerous visitors.
Autumn brings a spectacular display of fiery red and gold foliage from maple and other trees. The peak season for autumn leaves is from mid-November to early December.
