Mami Hill Park is a large urban park located in Koryo-cho, Kitakatsuragi-gun, Nara Prefecture, sprawling across the Mami Hills. The park features numerous kofun (ancient burial mounds), offering a glimpse into Japan's ancient history. The key highlights are the Nagareyama Kofun and Otomeyama Kofun, both keyhole-shaped burial mounds. The park boasts stunning scenery with seasonal flowers in full bloom. Take the Nara Kotsu bus No. 33 bound for "Mami Hill Park" from Goido Station on the Kintetsu Osaka Line. Get off at "Mami Hill Park" and it's a 1-minute walk.
From Sawamidagawa Station or Ikebe Station on the Kintetsu Tawaramoto Line, take the Kawai Town circular wagon bus, the "Sunamaru-go" East Route, and get off at "Mami Hill Park Mae". It's a 1-minute walk.
From the Horyu-ji Interchange on the Nishimeihanshin Expressway, go south on Prefectural Road No. 5 for about 4km. Show route

Please note that there are no trash cans within the park, so you'll need to take your trash with you. Also, be aware that the park has dense bushes and is a habitat for mamushi (Japanese pit vipers), so please exercise caution.
