About a 25-minute walk (2km) from Fukuma Station on the JR Kagoshima Main Line, or take Nishitetsu Bus No. 1-1 bound for Tsuyazaki Bridge from Fukuma Station and get off at Miyajidake Shrine-mae bus stop. Parking available for 700 cars. Every year, from New Year's Eve late at night through the first three days of January, traffic congestion occurs due to the large number of worshippers. Also, numerous direct temporary buses are operated by Nishitetsu Bus Munakata between JR Fukuma Station and Miyaji-dake Shrine-mae bus stop.
