The park is quite expansive, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Also, the sun can be strong during the summer months, so please bring a hat and sunscreen.
Yoshinogari Historical Park, located in Kanzaki District, Saga Prefecture, was developed to preserve and utilize the Yoshinogari Ruins, the largest Yayoi period settlement site in Japan. Within its vast 104-hectare grounds, you'll find reconstructed Yayoi-era villages and various facilities offering glimpses into daily life of that era.
Explore reconstructed pit dwellings and raised-floor storehouses, participate in events that recreate daily life, and get a firsthand feel for the ingenuity and skills of the ancient people. The park also houses a museum showcasing unearthed pottery, stone tools, and ornaments, providing deeper insights into Yayoi culture.
