Overview
Akashi Kaikyo Park is a national park boasting breathtaking views of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge and abundant natural beauty. It has two distinct areas: Awaji Island and Kobe, each offering unique attractions.
The Awaji area, opened in 2002, sits on a hilltop overlooking the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. It's a family favorite, featuring seasonal flower gardens, vast grassy fields, and BBQ areas. Spring brings a vibrant display of tulips and cherry blossoms, while summer offers cool shade under lush trees. Autumn paints the park in beautiful autumn foliage, and winter provides crisp air and stunning bridge views.
The Kobe area, partially opened in 2016, showcases a beautiful rural landscape. With paddy fields, vegetable plots, and forests, it's perfect for nature walks and educational experiences.
