Enjoy breathtaking views from 47 meters above the ground.
Overview
The Maiko Marine Promenade is a facility built alongside the Kobe side of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge, one of the world's largest suspension bridges. Opened on April 5, 1998, it's a 317-meter-long, meandering walkway approximately 47 meters above sea level and about 150 meters from the shore, extending out over the Akashi Strait. Below, you'll have a breathtaking, panoramic view of the blue sea and Awaji Island all to yourself. With thrilling features like glass floors and a log bridge, there's excitement for all ages. The observation lounge lets you virtually experience the view from the 300-meter-high main tower of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. There's also a cafe restaurant, perfect for enjoying a meal while taking in the spectacular scenery. The Maiko Marine Promenade is a truly exceptional spot for experiencing the grandeur of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge up close. It's highly recommended for dates and family outings. Come visit!
