Sakuyakonohana-kan is a leading comprehensive botanical garden in Japan, built for the 1990 International Flower and Green Expo. It cultivates and displays approximately 5,500 species and 15,000 plants, making it one of the largest in Japan. The館内 features various climate zones, including a tropical rainforest area, an alpine plant area, and a cactus and succulent area. Each area showcases plants unique to its respective region, offering a truly global botanical journey.
One of the highlights is a preserved Rafflesia flower and bud encased in resin. Rafflesia, known as the world's largest flower, is truly awe-inspiring. The館内 also includes a mini-museum, cafe, and restaurant, ensuring a full day of enjoyment.
