Kaga Traditional Craft Village Yunokuni no Mori is a traditional craft theme park located in Awazu Onsen, Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
Spread across a vast 130,000-tsubo (approximately 430,000 square meters) site, it brings together facilities where you can experience Kaga's traditional crafts, including Wajima-nuri lacquerware, Kutani porcelain, gold leaf, Yamanaka lacquerware, music boxes, glass crafts, Japanese paper (washi), and soba noodle making.
At each facility, you can observe the traditional craft manufacturing process and even try your hand at it.
For instance, at the Wajima-nuri lacquerware hall, you can try your hand at the 'shimboku' (gold leaf) technique.
At the Kutani porcelain hall, you can experience painting or pottery wheeling.
At the gold leaf hall, you can try gold leaf application.

Yunokuni no Mori also features five relocated houses with thatched roofs over 100 years old, allowing you to touch the history while experiencing traditional crafts.
