Built in the Meiji era by industrialist Shihei Furukawa, this garden is an urban oasis featuring a Western-style mansion designated as an Important Cultural Property and a traditional Japanese garden.
The mansion, designed by British architect Josiah Conder, boasts stunning stained glass, fireplaces, and other features that evoke the atmosphere of the time, offering a captivating glimpse into the past.
The Japanese garden is a stroll garden where visitors can enjoy the beauty of flowers throughout the year. From cherry blossoms in spring and hydrangeas in summer to autumn foliage, the garden offers stunning scenery year-round.
