Access via National Route 120, approximately 25km from Nikko-Utsunomiya Road Kiyotaki IC. Parking is available at Yu-taki entrance and other locations.
From Nikko Station or Tobu Nikko Station, take the Tobu Bus Nikko bound for Yumoto Onsen. Get off at the "Yumoto Onsen," "Lakefront," or "Yu-taki Entrance" bus stop and walk from there. Show route

Overview
Lake Yunoko is a lake located in western Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. It's a dammed lake formed by the eruption of Mount Miitake volcano to the northeast.
Situated at an elevation of 1,478 meters (4,850 feet), it's fed by water from Mount Nikko Shirane and hot springs from Nikko Yumoto Onsen located on the lakeshore.
Lake Yunoko is known for its stunning scenery and abundant nature. The autumn foliage is particularly captivating, with vibrantly colored trees adorning the lake's surface.
A 1.9-mile (approximately 3km) walking path is maintained along the lakeshore, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
Many attractive sightseeing spots are located around Lake Yunoko, including Yu-taki Falls and Senjogahara. Yu-taki Falls, located at the southern end of Lake Yunoko, is a breathtaking 97-meter-high waterfall. Senjogahara is a vast marshland extending to the west of Lake Yunoko, where you can observe various alpine plants and birds.
