Yunokami Onsen Station is located in Shimogo Town, Minami Aizu District, Fukushima Prefecture, and is a station on the Aizu Railway Aizu Line. This station is known for its unique thatched roof, a rare sight in Japan. The station building, constructed in the 1960s, exudes the warmth of its wooden structure. Inside, you'll find an irori hearth where you can enjoy eating dango (dumplings) while waiting for your train. A free footbath is also available next to the station building. The footbath is rich in onsen minerals and will warm you from the inside out. In spring, the cherry blossoms blooming next to the station create a breathtakingly beautiful scene, attracting many visitors. The area is painted a lovely pink during cherry blossom season. Yunokami Onsen Station is one of the most popular stations on the Aizu Railway line.
