Its grand and beautiful scenery captivates many visitors. In the lush valley, eight waterfalls of varying sizes are scattered, each showcasing a unique character. From downstream, they are named Sarutobi Falls, Takijiri Falls, Momiji Falls, Kajika Falls, Uba Falls, Hime Falls, Yashiwo Falls, and Yashiro Falls. Each offers captivating views; their different scales, shapes, and the beauty of their sprays are all highlights. Among them, Yashiro Falls and Yashiwo Falls, which cascade down in two tiers, are particularly impressive with their abundant water volume. The roar of the falling water truly lets you experience the power of nature. A well-maintained, approximately 1.5km walking path leads from the parking lot to Yashiwo Falls. It's an easy walk, making it suitable for families with young children. The path is largely shaded, offering a relatively cool walk even in summer. Enjoy the lush greenery of the valley, breathe in the abundance of negative ions, and refresh your mind and body. Along the walking path, you'll find several shops selling local specialties and restaurants for a relaxing break. Furthermore, there are campgrounds and onsen (hot spring) facilities nestled in the abundant nature surrounding Yaetaki Falls, providing opportunities for a leisurely stay.
