Ubagataki Falls is located in the Jagai Garden area, about halfway along the White Road. It's a 20-minute walk from the parking lot along a boardwalk.
The boardwalk winds through a natural forest of beech and Japanese oak trees, allowing you to enjoy the abundant nature along the way.

The way the waterfall cascades down the cliff face in a myriad of white streams is said to resemble an old woman's wildly flowing white hair, hence the name "Ubagataki" (Old Woman's Falls).
