The building isn't very large; you can comfortably see everything in about 15 minutes. However, if you spend time chatting with the curator, your visit might last a little longer.
The Ryogoku Fireworks Museum opened in Ryogoku, the birthplace of the Sumida River Fireworks Festival and the origin of Japan's summer fireworks displays, with the cooperation of the Japan Pyrotechnics Association and other related parties. Through exhibits on the history and technology of Japanese fireworks, you can gain a deep understanding of firework culture and techniques. While the museum isn't very large, you can enjoy watching firework-related videos and hearing stories about fireworks from the friendly and helpful curator, who is happy to provide explanations.
