Iwakuni Castle is a flatland hilltop castle located in Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, also known as "Shirohebi-jo" (White Snake Castle). Built in 1602 by Hidemoto Mori, it sits near the iconic Kintai Bridge. From the castle keep, you can enjoy panoramic views of the bridge and Iwakuni city, a truly awe-inspiring sight. Iwakuni Castle is also famous for its white snake legend, where a white serpent is said to be the castle's guardian deity.
