Sesshu-kyo Park, located in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture, is a gorge along the upper reaches of the Katsuragawa River, renowned as one of the most scenic spots in the Kita-Settsu region. For approximately 4km, you'll encounter unique rock formations such as the "Husband and Wife Rocks" and "Eight-Mat Rock," cliffs, and waterfalls, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the majestic natural beauty. In spring, 3,000 cherry blossom trees burst into bloom, making Sakura Hiroba (Cherry Blossom Square) a lively spot for hanami (cherry blossom viewing). Autumn paints the gorge in vibrant colors, creating a breathtaking spectacle of fiery reds and yellows. The park features well-maintained hiking trails, offering various routes along the gorge or through the hillsides.
