A beautiful island with countless uniquely shaped rocks, stunning ocean views, and lush greenery.
Kasadojima is a small island, approximately 30km in circumference, located in the Seto Inland Sea off the coast of Kudamatsu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Its diverse coastline, dotted with countless uniquely shaped rocks, is a true work of natural art. Surrounded by abundant greenery, the island features well-maintained hiking trails perfect for leisurely strolls. The island offers a variety of facilities, including a family camping village, campgrounds, and beaches, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. The family camping village, in particular, boasts breathtaking views of Kasado Bay and offers barbecue facilities, camping sites, and even an ashiyu (footbath). Kasadojima also features a sea promenade, completed in 2005. This approximately 300-meter-long walkway gives you the sensation of walking on water, offering a tranquil stroll while enjoying the peaceful Seto Inland Sea and its marine life. From late February to early March, approximately 500 Kawazu cherry trees burst into bloom, painting the island in a breathtaking pink hue. The stunning contrast of the blue sky, ocean, and the island's natural beauty is truly a sight to behold. Kasadojima is a charming island where you can connect with nature and unwind. We highly recommend a visit!
