An open park offering breathtaking views of Nagasaki Port.
Nagasaki Mizube no Mori Park was created in March 2004 as part of Nagasaki City's redevelopment project, reclaiming land from Nagasaki Port. It's divided into three areas: "The Plaza of the Earth," "The Water Garden," and "The Waterside Promenade," each offering unique charms. The spacious lawn is perfect for picnics and events. You can also stroll along the Waterside Promenade or relax in the Water Garden. The park is lively with nearby attractions like the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum and the AIG Nagasaki Building. The AIG Nagasaki Building, completed in 2006, is a distinctive structure within the park. It served as a celebration venue for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay, a memorable location where many runners passed through. Offering a superb location overlooking Nagasaki Port, the park provides stunning sunset views. At night, the entire park is illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. Nagasaki Mizube no Mori Park is a beloved park representing Nagasaki, a fusion of nature and city life. We highly recommend a visit!
