Some Ryokans (traditional Japanese inns) and hotels may require a transfer to Awaji Kotsu's general route bus (Yura Line: Parkumae to Sumiyoshimae bus stops). Some services operated by West Japan JR Bus and Honshi-Kaikyo Bus go directly to various accommodations in Sumoto Onsen (no need to transfer at Sumoto Bus Center to hotel shuttles or Awaji Kotsu general route buses).
