Take the Kyushu Sangyo Bus bound for Takadate Onsen from Aso Station on the JR Kyushu Hohi Main Line and get off at "Yu Station." Transfer to the Kokonoe-go Circulation Bus or similar and get off at "Kurokawa."
Alternatively, take the Kyushu Yokodan Bus from Kumamoto Station or Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal and get off at "Kurokawa Onsen."
From Nishitetsu Tenjin Highway Bus Terminal or Hakata Bus Terminal, take the Fukuoka - Kurokawa Onsen Line (operated by Kyushu Sangyo Bus and Hita Bus) and get off at "Kurokawa Onsen."
From the Kumamoto Interchange of the Kyushu Expressway, it's a 62km drive via National Route 57, the YAMANAMI Highway, and National Route 442. Show route
