Ebara Tenjin Shrine

Overview

Ebara Tenjin Shrine, located in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a shrine dedicated to Sugawara Michizane, known as the god of scholarship. Established during the Kamakura period, it's a historically significant shrine cherished by the local community. The shrine grounds feature beautiful wisteria trellises, reaching their peak bloom from late April to early May. The sight of the wisteria in full bloom is breathtaking and soothes the soul.
