Horikiri Iris Garden is a park (botanical garden) managed by Katsushika City, located in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo. Known as a famous iris garden, it boasts a history dating back to the Edo period. The garden features approximately 6,000 irises of 200 varieties, mainly Edo-style irises, with peak bloom in mid-June.
The breathtaking spectacle of colorful irises in full bloom offers a welcome escape from the city's noise and commotion. The garden also includes a banquet facility, Shikantei, where you can enjoy a meal (reservations required for banquets) while relaxing and taking in the garden views.
Horikiri Iris Garden is a beloved urban oasis, offering beautiful seasonal scenery. We highly recommend a visit to experience its charm.
