Access
Located right outside Exit 2 of Karasuma Oike Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line and Tozai Line. Note that Karasuma Oike Station is located beneath the intersection of Karasuma-dori (north-south) and Oike-dori (east-west), but Exit 2 leads to the Oike-dori side (west side of the northwest corner). The museum is on the Karasuma-dori side (north side of the northwest corner), so walking straight ahead from the exit won't get you there. After exiting the station, turn left at the intersection behind you and walk north on Karasuma-dori. Show route
