Mikasa Highland is a vast plateau located east of Matsumoto City in Nagano Prefecture, rising to approximately 2,000 meters (6,562 feet) above sea level. Situated at the northernmost tip of the Yatsugatake-Chushin Kogen Quasi-National Park, it's known as one of Japan's largest high-altitude plateaus.
