Takidanji Temple is a Shingon sect temple of the Chizan school located in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture. Originating as a hermitage built by Rui-Ken in Sakiura in 1377 (during the Eiga era), it was relocated to its current location in 1381 (during the Eitoku era).
