Kirifuri Kogen Kisugehira Garden is a highland area located in Tokoro, Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, sprawling across the mid-slope of Akanagiyama at an elevation of 1,300m to 1,600m. Once a bustling Kirifuri Kogen Ski Resort, it closed in 2004. Subsequently, walking paths, a rest house, and other facilities were developed, leading to its opening in April 2015 as an environmental learning and tourism center.
From spring to autumn, over 100 types of flowers bloom throughout the garden. The most spectacular sight is the Nikko daylily colony, which reaches its peak from mid-June to July. The sight of a field covered in orange blossoms is sure to touch the hearts of visitors, creating unforgettable memories.
