Goshogawara Tachineputa is one of Aomori's three major Tachineputa festivals, held in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, every year in early August. The sight of these approximately 23-meter-tall, 19-ton floats parading through the streets is breathtaking, captivating audiences with their power and beauty. The Tachineputa-no-Yakata permanently exhibits these floats. Witnessing the sheer scale of the actual floats used in the festival is an awe-inspiring experience. You can also learn about the creation process and history of Tachineputa. The exhibition hall spans four floors with an open atrium, allowing you to view the towering Tachineputa from a height of approximately 20 meters, circling it and seeing it from slightly different angles. Video displays of the festival further enhance your understanding and appreciation of the Goshogawara Tachineputa. When visiting Goshogawara, be sure to visit the Tachineputa-no-Yakata and immerse yourself in the world of Goshogawara Tachineputa.
