Hottasawa Falls, located in Hinohara Village, Nishi-Tama District, Tokyo, is a magnificent waterfall renowned as the only one in Tokyo selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls. Its four tiers cascade down a total of 60 meters. Known as a scenic spot since the Edo period, it continues to captivate visitors today. While the frequency of freezing has decreased in recent years due to global warming, during severe winters after January, you may still witness the falls frozen.
