Shiranoe Botanical Garden, formerly known as "四季の丘" (Shiki no Oka, meaning "Four Seasons Hill"), opened in 1996 as the Kitakyushu Municipal Shiranoe Botanical Garden. Located atop a gentle hill, the garden offers stunning scenery with approximately 700 cherry trees and a vibrant display of seasonal flowers. Spring showcases a dazzling array of cherry blossoms, including Someiyoshino, Yamazakura, and Shidarezakura, painting the garden in shades of pink. From the summit park, reached after climbing roughly 400 steps, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view, a harmonious blend of sweeping vistas and abundant blossoms.
