Sakaidaiba Ruins and Sakaidaiba Park is a park developed on the site of a gun battery built by the Tottori clan during the Edo period. This battery was constructed by the Tottori clan to protect the coastline and represented the pinnacle of military technology at the time. Remnants of the stone walls and gun emplacements remain, offering a glimpse into the past. In spring, the park is ablaze with cherry blossoms, creating a stunning landscape. During cherry blossom season, many tourists visit, creating a lively atmosphere. The park also features a spacious lawn area and playground, making it enjoyable for children.
