Overview

Jōzan Park is a park situated on a gently sloping hill on the north side of Niimi City. In spring, approximately 300 cherry trees burst into bloom, offering spectacular views of Niimi's cityscape, Niimi Station, and the Chugoku Mountains. This breathtaking scenery attracts many visitors every year. But even outside of cherry blossom season, the park offers year-round appeal with lush greenery in early summer and vibrant autumn foliage. It's a worthwhile destination throughout the year. Well-maintained walking paths wind through the park, perfect for leisurely strolls or a light hike. At the summit, a scenic overlook provides panoramic views of Niimi City. From this vantage point, you can see iconic Niimi Station and the majestic Chugoku Mountains. The sunset views are particularly stunning, with the sky painting the cityscape in vibrant oranges—a truly unforgettable sight. Children's play equipment is also available, making it a fun destination for families. Ample parking is provided, making it easily accessible by car. When visiting Niimi, be sure to stop by Jōzan Park. It's a highly recommended sightseeing spot where you can fully appreciate Niimi's city and natural beauty.
