Shizukuishigawa Park is a famous cherry blossom spot located in Shizukuishi-machi, Iwate Prefecture, near Lake Gosho Dam. Approximately 150 cherry trees create a stunning display, and during the spring, you can also see around 150 carp streamers fluttering in the breeze. The cherry blossoms, especially during peak season, form a beautiful tunnel of pink, captivating visitors. The park features well-maintained walking paths, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Even outside of cherry blossom season, the park remains a popular spot to enjoy the lush greenery. Its easy access from the parking lot is another attractive feature.
