Shizukuishigawa Park is a famous cherry blossom spot located in Shizukuishi-machi, Iwate Prefecture, near Lake Gosho Dam. Approximately 150 cherry trees create a stunning display, and during the spring, you can also see around 150 carp streamers fluttering in the breeze. The cherry blossoms, especially during peak season, form a beautiful tunnel of pink, captivating visitors. The park features well-maintained walking paths, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Even outside of cherry blossom season, the park remains a popular spot to enjoy the lush greenery. Its easy access from the parking lot is another attractive feature. Nearby attractions include the Koiwai Farm and Amagari Onsen, making it an ideal destination to combine with other sightseeing.
