Located within the grounds of Ise Grand Shrine, Jingu Nogyo Kan is a museum dedicated to the agricultural and marine products offered to the shrine and their history. Through valuable materials and exhibits, you can experience the deep connection between the more than 1500-year-old Ise Grand Shrine rituals and the lives of the people. The museum features a diorama depicting the Emperor's rice harvest, agricultural products offered to Ise Grand Shrine, and taxidermied specimens of rare animals. There's also an exhibit on Tanaka Yoshio, considered the father of Japanese museums, offering insight into the history of museums in Japan. Jingu Nogyo Kan is a precious facility that allows for a deeper understanding of the relationship between the beliefs of Ise Grand Shrine and the lives of the people. Be sure to visit when you're at Ise Grand Shrine.
